Who this is for.
You are somewhere between thirty-five and fifty-five. You run something, or you run a desk inside something large. Partner, director, founder, PM — the title varies, the pressure doesn’t.
You have been fit before. You know what it felt like. You also know that the version of training that got you there is not available to you now.
You are not looking for a challenge. You are looking for a system that survives contact with your actual life.
The problem is not discipline.
Every executive I work with is disciplined. They built a career on it.
What they don’t have is time, and what nobody has given them is a model that respects that.
So the advice they get is written for someone else. Five sessions a week. Meal prep on Sundays. Track everything. It works beautifully for a person who does not exist in your calendar.
The work is figuring out what actually moves the needle in the two or three hours a week you genuinely have, and then defending those hours properly.
That’s a programming problem. Not a willpower problem.
The method.
The first twelve weeks have three objectives. Understand your goals and your context. Collect baseline data. Then test, refine and learn the model.
It can be compressed into six. I don’t. With the context most of my clients operate in, six weeks creates information overload and adherence suffers. Twelve gives enough breathing room for the change to feel seamless rather than imposed.
Everything after that is progression. Stimulus plus recovery equals adaptation. Sensibly pushing the limit, then allowing the body to answer.
Age-related decline will happen. The rate of it is negotiable. That’s the whole proposition.
